Considering the general obsession of the human race with sex and everything associated with it, it is rather strange that we actually understand very little about human sexual attraction on a scientific level. What we do know is that there are several key characteristics that contribute to physical attraction in humans, including smell, voice and facial features.
A good morning routine has the ability to clear you mind, minimise stress and set you up for the day ahead. There has been a lot of research into building good habits and the mental health benefits you can gain. Everyone’s ideal morning routine will be different and it’s important to experiment with what works for you.
Do you ever feel like no matter how much sleep you get, its never enough? Do you dwell on every much-needed hour of sleep lost to the late nights and early rises? Do you find yourself dreaming wistfully of those Sunday morning lay-ins even though you know you’ll probably wake up at the same time as your weekday alarm anyway?
Do you find yourself struggling to sleep at the moment? Whether it’s the warm weather, racing thoughts or children keeping you up, implementing or making some small changes to your current night-time routine could make all the difference.
In 2019, the average 15 year old in the UK and EU could expect work for around 36 years(1). And with medical advancements and financial pressures pushing our retirements further into elderhood, we can only expect this number to increase. Considering this gargantuan proportion of our lives that work consumes, there is no doubt that our choice of occupation is vitally important for our mental health and wellbeing throughout our lives.
